Official Rules

AS A CONDITION OF ENTERING THE “SHOW US YOUR SHORE” VIDEO CONTEST, EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT MUST REVIEW AND ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BEFORE SUBMITTING AN ENTRY.

1.  ELIGIBILITY: The Shore Financial Services (“Sponsor”) Show Us Your Shore video contest ("Contest") is open anyone 18 years and older living in any one of the 50 United States.

2. CONTEST SCHEDULE: Entries to the Contest will be accepted between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) May 3 and 11:59 p.m. EST June 14 (“Contest Period”)

3. ENTERING THE CONTEST: To enter the Contest, create up to a three (3) minute video from the following categories (“Categories”):
-Coming Ashore: This is a category for those who do not own their own home. We want to know about your dreams of home ownership. Find a creative way to use emotion or humor to show us why you want to own your own home or how owning a home would improve your life.
-Show Us Your Shore: Time to show us your shore! Let us know what makes your home a home. In the most creative way possible show us the best part about owning your own home and what it means to be a home owner.
-Shore Family Reunion: Calling all past and current Shore Financial Services family members! We want to see how Shore Financial Services has positively changed your life. Send us your heartwarming, funny, or exciting story about how Shore Financial Services helped put a roof over your head. After you have completed your video, mail your completed submission form, waiver/release form, and DVD or MiniDV entry to:

By submitting a video entry, you affirm and represent that you have permission from the videographer (if other than entrant) and all parties appearing in the video to submit the video as a contest entry, and that you hereby grant, transfer and assign to Sponsor all rights, title and interests in and to the video so that Sponsor has the right to use, not use, display, edit, and create derivative works from the entry in any and all media, worldwide, without limitation or further obligation to you or any other party.
 Once your video has been reviewed, you will receive an e-mail letting you know if it has been approved or denied based on the criteria set forth in the section of these rules entitled "Entry Requirements".
Shore Financial Services is not responsible for any entrant's failure to timely or fully complete the registration process. Registration must be received by 11:59 pm on June 14, 2010 or your submission will not be entered into the contest.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: All entries must meet the following guidelines:

• An entry can only be submitted by a single individual, and the prize will only be awarded in the entrant's name.
• If individuals other than the entrant appear in a video, entrant must have the permission to use the audio and visuals of everyone featured in the video in any and all media without compensation by having them sign and complete the waiver/release form.
• Entrant must submit all required releases at Sponsor's request, including a release from all individuals appearing
  in the video.
• Each Submission must not contain any copyrighted works (other than as owned by the Entrant). Use of any unauthorized music may result in disqualification of Submission, in Sponsor's sole discretion.
• There is no limit to the number of entries per person, but each entry submitted must be different. Incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will be disqualified. Shore Financial Services is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries.
• Content: Each entry must be suitable for display and publication, in all forms of media, including but not limited to the internet, the World Wide Web, print, radio, and network, cable or satellite television broadcast. Entries must be dignified, modest and in good taste, must not be obscene or indecent, including but not limited to containing pornography or profanity, nor contain any offensive or defamatory statements including but not limited to words or symbols that might be considered offensive to individuals of any race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group, nor include threats to any person, place, business, or group, nor invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm or entity, including, without limitation, any third party trademarks or copyrights, nor portray Sponsor or Sponsor's brands or products in any way that might tend to subject any of them to public contempt, scandal, disrepute or ridicule. Sponsor reserves the right to make determinations of suitability in its sole and absolute discretion, and to disqualify any entries it determines to be inappropriate for any of the reasons listed above, or for any other reason.

All Submissions will be reviewed for content before being published or judged; however, such review does not relieve Entrant from responsibility for compliance with all of the Terms of Service and these Official Rules. Submissions that do not comply in all material respects with the Terms of Services or these Official Rules or that otherwise contain prohibited, or inappropriate content as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will be disqualified and will not be published or considered for prizes. Sponsor makes the final determination as to which Submissions are eligible to take part in this Contest and be considered for a prize. Certain Submissions may be featured from time to time on the Web Site during the Contest Period, in Sponsor's sole discretion; being selected as a featured Submission is unrelated to the Judging Criteria and does not guarantee selection as a winner in the Contest.


BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST AND UPLOADING YOUR SUBMISSION, YOU IRREVOCABLY GRANT TO SPONSOR AND ITS AGENTS THE UNCONDITIONAL AND PERPETUAL RIGHT TO POST, DISPLAY, PUBLISH, USE, ADAPT, EDIT AND/OR MODIFY SUCH SUBMISSION IN ANY WAY, IN ANY AND ALL MEDIA, FOR ANY PURPOSE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, AND WITHOUT CONSIDERATION TO YOU. FINALISTS AGREE TO IRREVOCABLY ASSIGN AND TRANSFER TO THE SPONSOR ANY AND ALL RIGHTS, TITLE AND INTEREST IN SUBMISSION, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL COPYRIGHTS AND WAIVE ALL MORAL RIGHTS IN SUBMISSION. ALL CONTEST ENTRANTS FURTHER AGREE TO RELEASE AND INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE NFL ENTITIES (AS DEFINED BELOW), SPONSOR AND THE CONTEST PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS THAT ANY COMMERCIAL, ADVERTISING, PRESENTATION, WEB CONTENT OR ANY OTHER MATERIAL SUBSEQUENTLY PRODUCED, PRESENTED, AND/OR PREPARED BY OR ON BEHALF OF SPONSOR INFRINGES ON THE RIGHTS OF ENTRANT'S WORK AS CONTAINED IN ANY SUBMISSION.

JUDGING CRITERIA: The winner of each $3,000 cash prize, one (1) per category, will be chosen by a panel of guest judges. The judges will evaluate each video submitted based on creativity, production quality, and category relevance. The Shore Financial Services judges' decisions are final for all matters relating to the Contest and are not subject to appeal.
The winner of the $3,000 Viewers Choice award (“Viewers Choice”) will be chosen by a popular vote of the top fifteen (15) rated videos (top five (5) videos from each category). The vote will be conducted at www.shorefinancialservicesinc.com. Voting will begin on May 26 at 12:01 a.m. EST and last until May 29 11:59 p.m. EST. Each voter may vote only once per day.

GENERAL RULES: Open only to residents of any of the 50 United States who are 18 years or older as of May 3, 2010. Void where prohibited. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Each winner will be notified via phone/e-mail and/or mail on or about July 2, 2010, and must claim the prize within five (5) days of the date the notice was sent or prize will be forfeited and awarded to the entry with the next-highest score. If any prize/prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any other requirements, the prizes will be forfeited in their entirety and awarded to alternates. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated or postage due mail or e-mail. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Judges.
In the event of a dispute as to identity of an entrant, entries will be deemed made by the name appearing on the entry. Sponsor and Promotion Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, undeliverable email, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, telephone, telephone line or other telephone related problems or errors, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Contest. If, in the Judges' opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the Judges reserve the right to terminate the Contest and determine a winner using all eligible entries received as of the date of termination or to modify the Contest in a manner deemed appropriate by the Judges.

4. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARVs): Three (3) prizes of $3,000 cash, one for each of the three (3) Categories. One (1) prize of $3,000 for Viewers Choice winner. No substitutions or transfers of prizes permitted by winners. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prize winners are solely responsible for any taxes on their prizes and will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of their prizes.

5. RIGHTS IN SUBMISSIONS: In consideration of entrant's submission being reviewed and evaluated for this Contest, each entrant hereby grants to the Sponsor a non-exclusive, irrevocable, fully paid, universal license to use, copy, sublicense, transmit, distribute, publicly perform, publish, delete or display such submission, or any portion thereof, in any media now known or hereafter devised including, but not limited to, all forms of television and all forms of internet and wireless protocol without any further right of approval. Each Entrant authorizes the Sponsor and any entities affiliated or in privity with the Sponsor, to utilize in perpetuity, and in any manner they see fit, the submission submitted to Sponsor, and to make derivative works from such material. Each entrant agrees that the results and proceeds of such use shall become the sole property of Sponsor and/or Sponsor's licensees, and shall be freely assignable by Sponsor and that the Contest Entities and their assignees and licensees shall have no obligations whatsoever to entrant. Each Entrant releases the Contest Entities, and their assignees and licensees, from any and all claims or liability (now known or hereafter arising), including but not limited to any claims for defense and/or indemnity, in connection therewith. Each entrant also grants permission for the Contest Entities to use entrant's name and likeness, for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further notice, permission, compensation or consideration in any and all media, unless prohibited by law. Each entrant represents and warrants that the video submitted is his or her own original, legally created work and does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights or rights of publicity or privacy, that he or she owns all rights in the submission, including without limitation the copyrights in the recording and agrees to hold Shore Financial Services harmless from any claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorney fees) and liabilities brought or asserted by any third party against Shore Financial Services arising from the entrant's submission or the individual's conduct in creating the submission, or otherwise in connection with the Contest.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: Shore Financial Services, their affiliates, parents and subsidiaries, and the employees, officers and directors of all such parties assume no responsibility or liability for, and all entrants agree to release and hold them harmless from and against, any damages, injuries, losses, claims or causes of action of any kind arising from participation in this Contest, the operation of this Contest or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize..
